Stocks inch higher in early trading

Stockhouse 2012-09-05AuRico Gold plunges on production reduction Canadian stocks moved higher in the first hour of trading Wednesday, aided by gains in the oil and banks equities. The TSX composite rose 32 points to 11,974, while the Venture exchange was little changed at 1,242. Early movers in Toronto included AuRico Gold, which saw its stock drop more than 20% after the gold miner cut its full-year production forecast for the second time in as many months. The Dow Jones industrial average added 47 points at 13,083, while the Nasdaq was up less than five points to 3,079. Weighing on Wall Street was a nearly 3% decline
